Six tools, one community

Each section is built for a job a chat app cannot do well.
Try any of them in the live demo.

A noticeboard that does not scroll away

Posts have categories, expiry dates and authors. The bike for sale is still there next week when someone is actually looking, not buried under a dozen other messages.

Lost cat! Small, grey tabby named "Misty". Last seen near the old oak tree. She is wearing a green collar and is very shy but friendly. Please call if you see her!

Borrow instead of buying

Neighbours list what they are happy to lend, from drills to projectors to board games. Browse the catalogue and ask to borrow directly. A borrowed drill might be the first time two neighbours actually talk.

Why Pinitto

Your data. Your space. Your time.

verified_user

Private by design

Invitation-only and invisible to strangers. Your community isn't a data source, and its members aren't a product being sold to advertisers.

view_quilt

Organised by section

Move the important things out of the feed. Pinitto's sections keep them tidy and easy to find when you need them.

notifications_off

No distractions

No ads, and notifications are off by default. Pinitto is built to help your community coordinate, not to keep you scrolling.

Where your data lives

Your community's data stays in the EU

We process and store your community's data within the EU, on servers in Germany. It is protected by the European Union's GDPR and hosted on infrastructure compliant with German federal data protection laws.

How is Pinitto different?

Pinitto and your group chat work together

Chat apps are great for quick questions and real-time conversation, so keep yours. Pinitto holds the rest, and it does not disappear.

Group chats are ephemeral

Great for "can someone pick up a package?", "we're starting, where are you?" or "the alarm is going off". Quick and real-time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I try Pinitto for free?
Yes. The free plan covers up to 10 members forever, so you can validate Pinitto with your core group before inviting the whole community. No payment required.
What kind of communities is Pinitto a good fit for?
Neighbourhood groups, co-housing communities, sports clubs, parent associations, building residents, small organisations and online or decentralised communities. Anywhere a few dozen to a few hundred people need to coordinate offline life.
How do I get my community started?
You create your community, then invite a few core members to help you prepare it. Together you set up the wiki, add the first resources and turn on the modules you need. Once it feels alive, you open it to the wider community, so no one arrives to an empty space.
Is my community's data truly private?

Yes. Your community is invitation-only and cannot be discovered by strangers. Data is encrypted and stored exclusively on servers in Germany, under GDPR and German federal data protection laws. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Read how we protect your data arrow_forward
Do I have to replace our group chat?
No. Pinitto is not a messaging app. Keep your group chat for real-time talk. Pinitto holds the things a chat can't. The rules, the bookings, the borrowable items, the running record of what your community has decided.
How is Pinitto different from Facebook Groups or Nextdoor?
No ads, no feed and no public profiles. Your community is invitation-only and cannot be discovered by strangers. Pinitto is built for the people you actually share a place with, not for a platform that needs your attention to survive.
